WELCOME TO OUR ANIMAL HOSPITAL
No one knows your animal like you. At Polo Park Animal Hospital, we believe in combining our veterinary training and advanced diagnostic tools with your expert knowledge of your animal to provide the best veterinary care.
We do not care for them only when sick. We want to know the whole story of your companion. Each animal has a unique personality—from the shy and timid cat, who only comes out after all is quiet, to the attention seeking lap dog who objects to even momentary seclusion. If your outgoing, affectionate companion is suddenly subdued and reclusive, it could indicate a medical problem that should be brought to our attention. The veterinary professional is the expert on the science of animal care in general; however, you are the expert on your particular animal, with whom you share your life and meaning.
Please, do not hesitate to ask us questions about why we recommend a certain treatment plan or protocol. Questions are welcome. After all, it is only through questioning that we realize our strengths and arrive at self-discovery. Furthermore, it is that discovery process that makes it worth being a veterinarian. I refuse to seek the services of physicians, dentists, or lawyers who are not willing to openly and lucidly explain their recommendations. I expect that animal owners share this view as well. Moreover, it is only through open dialogue that trust is formed. We welcome that process.
We are, therefore, proud of our ability to provide advanced diagnostics and treatments such as ultrasound, digital radiology (xrays), digital dental radiology, full in-house blood work capabilities, and laser surgery among others. We also provide quality wellness care for every stage of life, including vaccinations following only the most current AAHA and scientific guidelines, dental care, heartworm testing, fecal parasite analysis, and early detection biochemical screening.
On behalf of the entire team at Polo Park Animal Hospital, we welcome you to our practice and look forward to meeting you and your family member!
